In 2023, the Design Museum of Chicago invited Nick Adam among other artists and graphic designers, to reimagine the iconic Chicago flag for the inaugural Field Days. Nick Adam’s take approach to the flag was to design a hypnotic portal of attraction. This was designed by elevating the ubiquitous monument, Chicago’s Bean (Anish Kapoor’s Could Gate) into the form of an op-art symbol.
