This notion towards graphic design is an optimistic and experiential one — rich, diverse, and meaningful form can lead to rich, diverse, and meaningful life experiences.
My experience as a graphic designer includes design direction, design strategy, client/team/project/budget management, the designing and production of systems-based identity and communications, as well, the hiring and mentorship of team-members and interns. Beyond design making, I have led identity, print, digital, environmental, experiential projects, teams, presentations, work sessions, and public town halls that involve governments, multi-stakeholder groups, and businesses small and large.
I hold an MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. My work has been recognized by Metropolis Magazine, Fast Company’s Innovation by Design, Core77, the TDC (Type Directors Club of New York), the Tokyo Type Directors Club, The STA (Society of Typographic Arts), Print Magazine, How Magazine, Under Consideration, Brand New, FPO (For Print Only), and other awarding entities.
